“… God’s love doesn’t seek value, it creates value. It is not because we have value that we are loved, but because we are loved that we have value. Our value is a gift, not an achievement.”
– William Sloane Coffin
What is Dignity on Wheels?
Dignity on Wheels (DoW) is our initiative that addresses critical needs of the unhousded population in the greater St. Louis area, aiming to significantly improve their health and wellbeing through showers, comprehensive medical care and essential resource connections.
Because dignity should not be stationary, our mobile hygiene service brings showers, hygiene supplies, and a compassionate human touch directly to the streets, encampments, and underserved areas where people are too often overlooked.

Looking to 2026
The need in greater St. Louis remains real. We invite you to help us expand Dignity on Wheels—more routes, more partners, more restored dignity.
From my heart to yours: thank you for trusting us, for loving our guests, and for allowing inExcelsis, through Dignity on Wheels, to be an extension of your witness in the community.
Yours truly,

The Need For Dignity on Wheels
In the heart of every person lies a deep and undeniable desire to be seen, to be respected, to be treated with dignity. Yet for our unhoused neighbors, access to something as basic as a hot shower remains a rare luxury, not a regular right. The streets offer no privacy, no relief, and no way to maintain even the smallest semblance of personal hygiene, often leading to isolation, illness, and a devastating erosion of self-worth.
Because everyone deserves to feel clean, cared for, we meet them where they are, restoring dignity one shower at a time.
Say Hello to Your Mobile Hygiene Service Team
Behind every clean towel, every warm smile, and every restored sense of dignity is a team of deeply committed hearts. The Dignity on Wheels team is a group of compassionate organizers, outreach workers, and volunteers who believe that hygiene is a human right and that kindness is the most powerful vehicle of change.
