Saturdays, 9 AM to noon, at the Outreach Center — 4265 Shaw Boulevard. Except the last Saturday of the month, when our team is out in the community.
A hot meal
Cooked, served, eaten together. No charge.
A hot shower
Private, warm, fresh towel and toiletries provided.
Hygiene supplies
Soap, toothbrush, razor, deodorant, period products.
Bus tickets
Metro tickets to get where you need to go.
Document help
Help replacing a lost ID or birth certificate.
Winter shelter
November–March, hotel guest-nights for families.

You don’t need to know what to ask for.
When you walk through the door at 4265 Shaw, a volunteer will greet you by name — or whatever name you’d like to be called. You can sit, have a hot drink, and take a breath. We don’t sign anyone in. We don’t ask for paperwork.
When you’re ready, tell us what you need today — a meal, a shower, hygiene supplies, bus tickets, a place to charge your phone, help replacing a lost ID. Or tell us nothing at all and just stay for the company. Both are welcome.
