Volunteer St. Louis — Weekly Saturday Unhoused Outreach

Community Fellowship (ComFe) is a weekly Saturday outreach hosted by inExcelsis in St. Louis. We welcome neighbors experiencing homelessness with dignity, hospitality, and relationship-first fellowship—and we invite volunteers who want to serve consistently and meaningfully.

Saturday Schedule

  • Volunteer check-in: 8:30 AM

  • Team huddle / briefing: 8:45–9:00 AM (required)

  • ComFe service window: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM

How You’ll Serve (Volunteer Lanes)

Volunteers are placed into clear lanes so the morning stays calm, fair, and effective:

  • Hospitality (coffee/breakfast)

  • Fellowship support (conversation + simple games)

  • Boutique support on shopping weeks (paired with trained leads)

  • Lunch prep & serving (when scheduled)

  • Setup / cleanup + flow support

First Time Volunteering?

If you’re new, please arrive at 8:30 AM for a short orientation so we can assign you to the best lane and start on time.
